Test Results

Last week I got my blood results back and my sugar was normal. I did have low iron so I have to take extra iron everyday. It is not that bad though. I am at 10.4 and the normal is 12 to 14. Because we are going to the woman's practice I have more than one doctor. This has not been a problem until now. One doctor is concerned and another doctor says it is no big deal. The doc that is concerned is not too worried but wants me to take the iron pills. I just think it is a little weird that they are so different in opinions. I guess I'd rather take them and be safe than not. Everything else is completely normal and we are both healthy. My weight is good and I am measuring right where I should be. At the time I was 291/2 weeks and I measured at 30. I am suppose to measure at the same amount of weeks I am at.

Her head is down and she has her butt sticking out next to my belly button. She will move from side to side. Almost every time Joe rubs my belly she pushes her butt out more. It's really funny. She has been getting the hick ups once a day. I don;t think she likes having them because every time she gets them she starts to wiggle around.

I am really excited for my shower this weekend and I can't wait to see everyone. Here are some pics!

Picture update

I am sorry I have not gotten any pictures posted. We got a new laptop so we could have get rid of our computer and make a little more room. So I had to get all my pictures over to my laptop and it took me a little bit.

I drank my "orange drink" and it was actually ok. It just tasted like flat orange pop. I have not heard from the doctor so I am assuming everything was fine. I go back for a checkup on the 15th.

Update at 27 weeks

Tomorrow I will be 27 weeks. I cannot believe that I am already this far along. On April 17th we had an appointment and the baby and I are both healthy. I have been very blessed during this pregnancy. Also, on this day we found out that I had gained 10 pounds in 4 weeks. This can be something to be concerned about if I continued to gain this much. I am really only SUPPOSE TO gain 1 pound a week. I had to go back a week later, which was April 24th, to just see a nurse to check my weight. When I went in I had not gained anymore weight which was good so their was nothing to worry about. Just a little growth spurt.

Now this Friday I have to drink my "ORANGE DRINK" and get my blood drawn. This is to check glucose. I am a little nervous on what the drink with taste like. I will make it through ok. I will let you all know how that goes. I will probably find out the results at my next appointment which is May 15th.

This last weekend she had the hick ups for the first time. It was the cutest thing ever. Of coarse I cried. Don't ask me why. I cry at everything these days. She is still kicking everyday all day. I had a child at work sitting on my lap and he said "Hey, your belly is bumpin in there!" He was very worried.

On Friday afternoon we got another ultrasound. During this one she was not as active as the other one but during it she yawned. It was the cutest thing ever. The doc replayed it three times for us. Here are some pics for everyone to see.

BOY or GIRL

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry I have not given an update. I know everyone is waiting or has already found out by someone. OK I had my appointment on the 16th and we found out it is a GIRL!!!!! We were so excited to finally know that we went and looked at baby items for the registry that next weekend. We will probably register soon since I have to have so many showers. At the ultrasound the doctor made a comment about how much she moved. We were in there for a half an hour and she did not stop moving. One minute she was doing a hand stand the next minute she was sitting on her feet. She moved into so many different positions the doctor gave us about 10 pictures. I will try to post some of them this weekend. Everything is healthy and growing well.
I am still feeling good. It's getting harder everyday to do the simplest chores. I either will get out of breath or I physically can't do something and have to wait for Joe to do it. I have to go shopping for a outfit to wear for Easter and that will be a trip and a half. All and all though I am enjoying being pregnant and for the most part I really don't mind random people rubbing my belly. What I enjoy the most is feeling her move she moves so much. She will sometimes keep me up at night. If I set something on my belly she will kick it off.

Another appointment

We went to the doctor and everything is normal and healthy. The baby was kicking my belly as the doctor was finding the heart beat - so we could hear the thumping of the kick. I feel the baby move all the time, I think we have an active one on our hands. I am gaining weight like I should be. I will be going back on the 16th and I'll have more exciting news for everyone. I just wanted to share my recent belly pics.

Bigger Belly

We had an appointment on Feb. 6th and everything was normal and healthy. I am now in my 16th week and feeling good. I have more energy and not feeling sick in the morning. Hopefully it stays this way.

Both Joe and I are so excited to find out what it is. A lot of people don't want us to but we are both impatient and can't wait. I just want to start getting the room ready. It's really hard not to buy anything. So far I have not gotten anything.

I think I may feel the baby moving but I don't know for sure. I am not sure what I am waiting to feel. I will have to wait and see if it's the baby or not.

Our next appointment is on March 6th and our next ultrasound is on March 16th. This is when we find out if it is a boy or a girl.
